Location:
Raja ka Mandir is located on the hill of Barsana. This temple is mainly dedicated to Shri Radha rani like various other temples of Barsana. This temple is called Raja ka mandir as it was built by a king. The Rajput king who built this temple was an ardent devotee of Shri Radha and Krishna. The passionate and enthusiastic king served the supreme lord by building this beautiful temple in Barsana.  It is said that when Raja ka mandir was built and was to be inaugurated, Shri Radha Rani appeared in king’s dreams and told him that this place is not the original place of her origin and also asked him not to proceed with the inauguration. After knowing this, the Rajput king built another temple at the place which came to be known as the Raja ka mandir of Shri Radha Rani.
