Ter Kadamb is the place where Shree Roop Goswami used to sing lovely songs in the praise of Radha Rani and Lord Krishna. Stories that enthrall:

According to the legends, it is believed that Shri Krishna used to climb and sit on the Kadamb tree while grazing the cows in the afternoon. Shri Krishna used to play the flute and call the names of the cows on the sweet notes of flute itself. The dear cows were called on the notes of flute and the cows would gather there hearing the mesmerizing sound of the flute. The sound of the flute was so spellbinding that the cows could not resist coming towards Krishna. Shri Krishna would then count the cows on his jeweled necklace. If some cows were still missing, Shri Krishna would again play the flute and call the missing cows by their names in the notes of music only. When all the cows would assemble there then only Shri Krishna would return home and rest the cows in the cowsheds.

Another instance from the legends has it that Shri Krishan used to call Gopis by playing their names on the notes on his flute, sitting on the Ter Kadamb tree here. The Gopis would arrive towards Krishna forgetting their worldly cares. The sound of the flute was so spell binding that no one could resist attracting towards it. Shri Krishna along with Gopis used to perform the Raas Lila in the gentle light of full moon night which would be a divine form of singing and dancing.
